Blake McArthur is an emerging abstract artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba,

Canada.

Working with acrylics on both paper and canvas, Blake strives to create

pieces that are rich in colour and texture, and which allow the viewer to

explore and discover on their own, without the constraints of realism

imposing a view of what they “should” be seeing.

Blake’s style has been described as being organic and industrial in

appearance at the same time. There is a sense of visual depth that

draws the viewer in, coupled with bold use of color.

Blake’s work is not intended to be “understood” - it is simply intended to

be enjoyed.
